The NDIS and Smart Assistive Technology
Internationally the role of Smart Assistance Technology in health, community and social care has increased and is gaining a spotlight and focus in service delivery and in consumer choice.
With the Introduction of the NDIS greater options to incorporate technology will be available. Consumer driven choice is driving greater consideration of the range of technology that may be available to enable more independent and engaged lives. The implications for incorporating Smart Assistive Technology will need careful consideration.
This seminar will explore the very practical considerations of incorporating Smart Assistive Technology in service suites as well as the higher level decision making considerations needed. The event will provide attendees a range of resources to consider in their delivery of services as well as outline international trends and models of new services emerging.
