The Dementia and Aged Care Services (DACS) Grants

In late 2016 a number of organisations applied for funding through the Dementia and Aged Care Services (DACS) Research and Innovation grant. This closed on December 20 2016. 42 of these projects were offered shared funding of $34 million to support their individual innovation in the field of aged and dementia care. Among the successful applicants are two that the Community Care Smart Assistive Technology has partnered in. The first is a partnership with CSIRO examining the smart-home technology area, and secondly a partnership with the Central Queensland University focusing on the innovative technology for carers project.
