Help enhance the next National Digital Health Strategy
The Australian Digital Health Agency is seeking written submissions to help shape the next National Digital Health Strategy and improve digital healthcare services throughout the country. Some of the areas of importance that have already emerged are:
- Using digital health to support:
- Management of chronic disease
- diagnosing conditions
- maintaining physical and mental wellbeing
- supporting community emergencies
- Building a digitally capable workforce to strengthen digital adoption and use
- Use of safe, secure data to support clinical decision making
- Establishing the right settings – legislative, funding, policy, accreditation – to drive innovation and implementation.
The Community Care Smart Assistive Technology Collaborative encourages submissions to be made. Submissions can be emailed to nationalstrategy@digitalhealth.gov.au before 5 November 2021.
Your submissions can focus on different aspects including what you think is working well in the industry, what you think the Strategy could improve and you can also share your own case studies which use technology to deliver better healthcare.
