Meet Our New Students!

Community Resourcing is pleased to present our three new student members! Megan, Duy and Liliana will be joining us for the next few weeks on placement from the Queensland University of Technology. These three students are currently studying a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics and are in the last year of their degree.

Whilst they are on placement with us, the students will be focusing on improving the nutritional health of a select group of elderly Brisbane residents.

After some initial research, it was decided that this group would exclusively contain individuals who identify as Forgotten Australians. These Australians have endured unimaginable experiences throughout their young lives that have created a number of issues that have greatly affected their futures. One of these issues is establishing a positive level of nutrition.

Over the next few weeks Megan, Duy and Liliana will work on a project to help assist these Australian’s achieve a better level of nutrition and help them to maintain this for the future.

If you would like more information on this project or believe your involvement would be beneficial please email sat@communityresourcing.com.au
